The Senior Agile Project Manager will oversee IT projects, and passionately drive organizational and team success. They will interact directly with technical delivery teams and business stakeholders for system integration and act as Scrum Master, facilitating Agile events and Scrum ceremonies, to effectively support iterative delivery. Responsibilities
- Develop and manage Information Technology projects, resources, schedules, and budgets.
- Balance multiple workstreams/projects concurrently. Provide progress updates to stakeholders.
- Utilize functional understanding of system integration including packaged software, web applications, mobile apps, CRM, cloud tools, databases, and other software.
- Work with decision-makers to determine project scope, objectives, and success criteria.
- Assist with project road map, work breakdown structures (WBS), and determine critical path.
- Use best practices throughout project execution, monitor progress, and adjust as needed.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to implement solutions and creatively resolve problems.
- Collaborate effectively with a diverse group of business and operational leaders, cross-functional teams, technology groups, vendors, and subject matter experts (SMEs).
- Effectively balance software delivery with other work being performed by Agile teams.
- Identify and manage blockers, risks, and interdependencies across Agile teams and business groups.
- Assist with creation, implementation, and management of project management policies, standards, and procedures. · Maintain knowledge of the project management landscape and effective practices
Qualifications
- 7+ years of Technology Project Management. 3+ years as Scrum Master preferred.
- 1+ Certification preferred: CSM, PSM, CSP, PMI-ACP, PMP, Prosci. Bachelor’s preferred.
- Oversee system integration, configuration, customization, and/or implementation.
- Understand packaged applications, web & mobile apps, CRM, cloud, databases, etc.
- Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, & JIRA. Create procedures, standards, & guidelines.
- Prioritize & multi-task across projects. Passion for efficient, scalable business processes.
- Able to manage multiple competing priorities while building effective relationships.
- Extremely organized and persistent, with drive and determination to achieve goals.
- Self-motivated, intellectually curious, collaborative, amiable, detailed, acts with integrity.
